I am writing to you today to share some exciting news about the revitalization of 5th ward in Houston. 5th Ward is a historic neighborhood that has been facing challenges in recent years, but there is a renewed sense of hope and optimism as the community works to rebuild.
The Fifth Ward Community Redevelopment Corporation (FWCRC) is leading the charge on this revitalization effort. FWCRC is a nonprofit organization that has been working in 5th Ward for over 30 years. Their mission is to “catalyze resources to build and preserve an inclusive 5th Ward Community by developing places and opportunities to live, work and play.”FWCRC has made significant progress in recent years. They have helped to develop new housing, businesses, and community amenities. They have also worked to improve public safety and provide social services to residents. As a result of FWCRC’s efforts, 5th Ward is starting to see a resurgence. New businesses are opening, homes are being renovated, and residents are starting to feel more optimistic about the future.
If you are a construction industry leader, I encourage you to get involved in the revitalization of 5th Ward. There are many opportunities to partner with FWCRC and other organizations to help make this community a success.
Birdseye Surveillance is helping to protect the area with numerous camera systems throughout the community. “Birdseye Surveillance, LLC is honored to be the security provider for the community and we are grateful to be a part of the turn around of this major part of Houston”, Russell Knott, CFO with Birdseye Surveillance, LLC
